You have probably heard people say, "Give thanks for your challenges because you will grow stronger by solving them." They often go on to say that solving problems opens doors to a better life.
If this is true, does not solving a problem keep me stuck in a certain place?
The answer lies in the truth that we are connected to a creative power that works just as well for us as against us. The more we practice using this creative power, the greater the power—whatever you're using it for—becomes. The caveat is that it works just as well whether you focus on not solving your problem or on solving your problem.
Solving problems, I believe, is the only way to achieve personal improvement. Our problems, whether they are mental or physical, are the means God offers us for changing this life for ourselves as well as the next! God is extremely efficient. Nothing is wasted. Everything serves a higher purpose.
